Drive just 3.5 miles to the cheerful market town of Kirkby Lonsdale with its independent shops and quaint eateries. There are some lovely walks here too along the Lune River to Ruskin s View and Devil s Bridge. Head east into the Yorkshire Dales National Park with its famous White Scar Cave and Ingleton Waterfalls Trail 9 miles away. Alternatively, visit the South Lakes such as Windermere 18 miles away for a day of kayaking or cycling around the picturesque shore. This newly converted 17th century barn still maintains its charm and character, but with all the modern conveniences you need for a relaxing getaway. Enter the bright, open plan kitchen/lounge/diner, perfect for socialising. Head out through the bi fold doors in the living room to the patio, where you can dine alfresco and admire the stunning views from the enclosed garden. Guests can also enjoy access to a private section of the river through the owner s fields, where you can spot a variety of wildlife including otters, kingfishers and deer.
