All one's needs are catered for. The cottage is clean, comfortable and welcoming. There are plenty of walks around the village and places of interest to visit further afield. Shirley and Rick [owners] were always very helpful and approachable. It is a holiday cottage that I would happily return to on another occasion.

As a base the cottage is within easy reach of the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Manchester as well as local attractions such as Pendle Hill and Towneley Hall. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and have created a very comfortable home away from home.

  • William

Great area and close to many local beauty spots as well as the city of Manchester. Hosts couldn't have been more helpful. The shippon is a very well crafted and comfortable conversion.
