The living space is bright and airy with plenty of comfy seating to sit back and enjoy a moment to yourself, look out through the full height patio windows onto the decked area, or enjoy a favourite movie in front of the large screen Smart TV. The kitchen area has everything you need to cook up a hearty meal, integrated appliances ensure you have plenty of space, and a dining table with enough room for everyone to sit round and enjoy each others company. Whether you are waking up for a full day ahead, or settling down for the night, the bedrooms offer sumptuous beds and bedding. The master has a kingsize Hypnos bed, with en-suite facilities, and the twin room is adjacent to the swish contemporary shower room. Outside a raised decked seating area has views looking towards Blencathra and the Northern Fell range. Soak away in the hot tub to the sound of massaging bubbles, and for al fresco dining, an outdoor barbecue area can serve up a flame cooked meal to hungry mouths.

Perfectly placed to explore the surrounding areas with easy access to and from the M6 making for effortless journeys to the Scottish Borders, Hadrian’s Wall and the Western Pennines. On the edge of the Lake District National Park, you can soon be on the shores of Ullswater, or enjoying a scenic ride on the lake’s famous steamers. Fell walkers have an abundance of classic paths from which to choose, from gentle low level strolls to demanding hikes up Helvellyn. The popular market town of Penrith has an array of independent shops, delightful arcades and numerous pubs, cafés and restaurants. There are numerous castles in the area to explore including the imposing Lowther Castle and Gardens with a huge adventure playground for the kids, whilst Hutton in the Forest has numerous outdoor events including the Wannasee Music Festival which hosts top live tribute bands from all around the world.     A beautifully decorated lodge in a lovely, peaceful location. Everything you could possibly need. Very friendly, welcoming owners. Lodge was pristine, with plenty of attention to detail. A great base for exploring Cumbria and The Lakes. Would absolutely recommend.
