The owners were both such fabulous hosts and were only a message or phone call away if we needed any help. We had the added luxury of a velvetiser which was a lovely added bonus. We brought a pizza with us and they were really helpful cooking our pizza for us as there was no oven in the shepherds hut. As well as more than happy to help with the hot tub even having it set up for us when we arrived. The shepherds hut is gorgeous and we are looking forward to booking it again. Thank you for such a delightful stay

What a lovely Shepherd's Hut this is. Dean and Jo are fabulous hosts, very welcoming and incredibly helpful. We really appreciated all the extra home comforts on arrival, so thank you. Milk, orange juice, tea, coffee, cereals, bread and butter were all provided and they even had a bottle of prosecco waiting for us in the fridge. We were rubbish at getting a fire started, so Dean helped us to get it going for the wonderful hot tub. We enjoyed two nights under the stars, which was so relaxing. Beautiful surroundings and a warm, welcoming smile. We will be back!

They showed us where everything was, and how to use all the facilities. Dean had already fired up the hot tub, so shortly after unpacking we were in it, relaxing, whilst taking in the amazing views. Later whilst the storm was angry outside, we were snuggled in front of the roaring fire listening to the hypnotic rain dancing on the roof. The local area had a power cut due to the storm, but we had a 'kettle' over the fire, and Jo had placed Xmas lights around the hut, so it was warm, light and we could make hot brews. We'd thoroughly recommend La'al Ling, and we'll be back in the summer ;-)
