Beautiful cottage in a lovely setting. Beautifully done, well equipped with a homely feel. Wonderful hosts with a little fruit cake on arrival, which was perfect to snack in whilst out walking. The eggs and milk were really appreciated and the eggs cooked up with gorgeous orangey yokes. Log burner in the kitchen which would be a real treat in the cooler seasons. First solo stay away and would not hesitate to return either alone or with company. Plenty of local walks from the door and easy to access the Dales, Lakes and further Eden Valley.

An excellent cottage for walking, both from the door, and also nearby, with the Coast to Coast passing through Kirkby Stephen. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. Jo and Nick were always on hand and happy to help. We are hoping to go back next year.
