A beautiful stone-built, semi-detached cottage, attached to the owners' farmhouse in the quiet hamlet of Barras, just five miles from Kirkby Stephen and the Tan Hill Inn, England's highest pub. The ground floor is open plan with French windows leading to a small patio area, designed once again to take advantage of the views.

It is a beautifully and tastefully restored split level barn conversion using recycled materials chosen to complement the space. It is so cosy, and the bath in the bedroom mezzanine is just luxurious! The sunset views are wonderful, and itâs great watching the birds who come to feed. Practically, the kitchen is ridiculously well stocked with all utensils, crockery etc that you need to cook up a feast. We absolutely loved staying here and will definitely be revisiting! Whilst the hosts live next door, we didnât see them at all until the day we left; we met Mark and Mary who are both utterly lovely. Thank you for everything.
