Arrival information - We would request arrival between 4pm and 8pm. If you are arriving after 8pm please inform the site. There is no reception, please go directly to your lodge and text the duty warden once you’ve arrived at the property to check in.Accommodation information - Please be aware that logs are not provided in your accommodation, you can purchase these from our groundsman or buy locally.For the comfort of guests smoking is prohibited in ALL lodges. Please note only dogs are allowed in the stated dog lodges. The owners reserve the right to levy a £200 cleaning charge to prepare the lodge for future guests if evidence is found of smoking or of dogs in a non dog lodgeExtra information- Deluxe Romance Package £100 – fresh flowers, champagne, homemade chocolates & use of robes and slippers during your stay.Facilities - The hot tub may not be up to optimum temperature on the first evening of your holiday due to water change and maintenance.Pets - The park will only accept dogs onsite. Our dog lodges are Swardale, Vendeen, teesdale, Ryeland and Romney.

Had a fabulous break in Teesdale Lodge. Immaculately clean, very well equipped. Beautiful location, very quiet.Grange-Over-Sands only a 10 minute drive away for a well stocked Co-Op, Tesco Express and Spar.Cartmel 3/4 mile away for fabulous food! Looking forward to returning again!

Due to the weather being so miserable we spent a lot of time In the lodge than we intended to which is fine no one can help the British weather. On first entrance the lodge stunk of what i thought was old spicy food / takeaway it was not a pleasant smell at all ! So we had to open all the windows to air out the lodge. The lodge was definitely not as clean as we would have liked. Cob webs Every where in every lamp shade , the windows were filthy , and the Rug in the lounge either needs a clean or to be replaced. The lodge definitely needs some TLC when it comes to decor and paint ! Definitely not what we expected for over £100 a night. When we went to cook on our first evening the cutlery was all dirty as were the plates and glasses so we spent our first night of our holiday washing up and cleaning ! The Hot tub was lovely although instead of slate / stones a flat surface to exit the hot tub would be a lot safer. The decking definitely needed a clean as it was so slimly and no where to hang a towel or wrap for when you exit the hot tub so may be some Hooks would be beneficial. I probably wouldn’t recommend or stay here again which is a shame as Cartmel was a lovely village and we enjoyed visiting the local area , the food and the scenery.
