Car parking area awkward for two cars and access onto a blind bend. Description indicates a beach close by, there was but advised not to use due to dangerous currents, quicksand etc. Outside patio furniture needs replacing as not fit to use.

A lovely comfortable accommodation with 3 good sized bedrooms that have very comfortable beds (not often the case with holiday rentals), large kitchen, cosy and sociable lounge, good sized dining table for 6 people and outside sitting area for when the weather is good. The convenient Pheasant pub opposite serves good food and the staff are very welcoming. Yes, the driveway to the back of the house is a little narrow, but my friend managed to park his Jeep! We had a minor issue and the owners were very responsive and sorted it out quickly. Highly recommended.

Dunmail was a perfect house to celebrate a family birthday. It was clean and comfortable with some nice original features. It easily accommodated six adults a baby and two dogs. The location was great for long country walks around beautiful countryside and through Cartmel. We also enjoyed our walk into Grange along the sea front. The Pheasant Inn opposite was perfect for Sunday lunch . We would recommend both the house and location.
