Guests consistently praise 2 West View for its comfort, cleanliness, and stunning views. The cottage's location is ideal for exploring the Lake District, with easy access to local attractions and walks. The well-equipped kitchen and the presence of a log fire add to the homely feel. The property is dog-friendly, adding to its appeal for pet owners.
Reviews frequently mention the cottage's cleanliness, with guests describing it as spotless and well-maintained. One isolated incident of a used razor left in the shower was noted, but overall, the high standard of cleanliness is evident.
The property is lauded for its excellent location, with proximity to the Lake District, local pubs, and scenic walks. The views are frequently described as beautiful, contributing to the high score.
Comfort is highlighted in many reviews, with the cottage described as cosy and the beds as comfortable. However, some guests found the beds too hard and the attic beds small, which slightly lowers the score.
Facilities are generally praised, especially the well-stocked kitchen. Some minor issues with TV remotes and heating system abuse are mentioned, but overall, the facilities meet guests' needs.
