Lovely holiday park and what looked like excellent facilities. There seemed to be a pod or lodge for every budget. Great location. The dog friendly hot tub pods with bottoms are very compact with only pullout beds available. These were very uncomfortable. Please beware that although the pods are dog friendly, they are not dog secure at all. We hadn’t realised that the fence didn’t span the whole pod and our dog went on a little adventure! Not ideal when she’s deaf… so take a metal stake to put into the ground to tether your dog too. Going forward, EV charging on site would be brilliant - something the site should consider, the closest were in Penrith. We would stay at the holiday park again, but definitely not in the same type of pods.

The accommodation had everything we needed for a short break. It was equipped with kettle, toaster, full size fridge, hob & all associated pots & pans etc. It was also well heated and had a table and chairs outside.
