Park-up in the off-road parking space, before being greeted by a neat front garden with fire pit, perfect for snuggling up in front of after a long day of exploring and toasting marshmallows. Just to the side of the property, there is a delightfully secluded secret garden, where you can dine alfresco amongst nature.

Be welcomed into the studio-style accommodation, where you can look forward to rustling up delicious meals with the help of the electric oven and hob, grill, and microwave along with a handmade ceramic sink to help with chores, ready to enjoy on the sofa as you recount the days adventures in front of the alluring electric woodburning stove. Wash away the day in the large walk-in shower with monsoon shower head, before wrapping yourself in a toasty towel, courtesy of the heated towel rail. As your eyes grow heavy, get tucked up in the sumptuous double bed to drift off ahead of another fun-filled day of exploring the Lakes and fells.

The historic town of Appleby-in-Westmorland lies in a loop of the River Eden and is overlooked by the North Pennines, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with the Lake District Fells showing on the western horizon. Set at the heart of the lush Eden Valley and steeped in history, this is one of the loveliest towns in the north of England and was originally the county town of Westmorland. Appleby is nestled between the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales, so guests can enjoy the contrasting scenery of these two National Parks, plus numerous walking and cycling opportunities as well as the fantastic leisure centre in the town. Appleby has a wonderful selection of quality independent shops, cafes and delicatessens selling locally produced food and crafts. The picturesque street of Boroughgate, with some interesting old buildings, is at the heart of the town and links the well-preserved Norman Castle with the fine medieval Church of St. Lawrence.
