It would have been a better review of the cottage but for 2 or 3 small things that could have been easily rectified. We really struggled to open the front door with the key, infact one day it was really torrential, we were soaked through trying to get the door open, we decided to try the back , which to our relief, did open. When we first got there, we tried to shut the blinds in the bedroom and they just fell off! we ended up having to put a blanket up at the window. The exact same happened in the bathroom! We rang the number provided but it was just the cleaner, who really apologised and was going to pass it onto the owner. When you looked into the visitors book that was in the cottage, these problems seemed to be going on over the years. We certainly werent happy.

Lovely cottage, well equipped. Very clean. Beautiful town, perfectly placed for exploring the area. The only small negative was that it was not possible to park at the cottage. Not a problem for us because we aere able to drop bags and reload before moving the car. The car was only a 2 minute walk away.
