The Granary Loft in Ulverston receives high praise for its cleanliness, stunning location, and comfortable amenities. Guests appreciate the friendly owners, the presence of farm animals, and the property's proximity to local attractions and walks. The peaceful setting and well-equipped facilities contribute to a relaxing stay, although some guests mention firm beds and noise from other lodgings.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviewers consistently mention the property being spotlessly clean and well-maintained, indicating a high standard of cleanliness that contributes positively to their overall experience.

The property's location is frequently highlighted as stunning and picturesque, with easy access to local attractions, walks, and the Lake District. The serene setting and views of Morecambe Bay are particularly appreciated.

Comfort is well-regarded with mentions of cosy settings, good quality mattresses, and underfloor heating. However, a few guests found the beds on the firm side, and there were comments about noise from other guests in the building.

Facilities are generally praised for being well-equipped and modern, with special mentions of the kitchen and bathroom. Some guests suggested minor improvements, such as softer beds and additional kitchen items like tea towels.

While many reviews express gratitude for the hospitality and friendliness of the owners, there is insufficient information regarding specific thoughtful gestures or gifts to accurately score this category.

It was home away from home. The weather wasn’t great for hill walks so we opted for cozy days at the Loft cooking, eating and watching TV. The Loft was very clean, good quality mattresses and bedding, excellent kitchen facilities and we loved the shower / room with underfloor heating. The location is fantastic with Birkrigg Common on the doorstep and walks down to the shore via Sea Wood or Baycliff. If you cross Birkrigg and walk down to Bardsea village you’ll find the Ship Inn where you can order food. For shops, Barrow and Ulverston are short drives away. I can’t wait to come back again in the spring / summer when the days are warmer and longer. I would definitely recommend the Granary Loft others. Thank you so much for an amazing stay.

Really clean and came with some free cats as well, which the kids loved. Lovely position and easy to access Ulveston and Dalton and all the facilities. We had great weather all week which was a bonus.
