Wake up to a stunning view from the bedroom, featuring a double bed and plenty of wardrobe space to store your personal items. To finish off the interior of The Bothy, there is a stylish shower room. This cottage comes with a delightful patio area to the side, an excellent spot to sit and relax, taking in the county air with your morning coffee. Walkers will be delighted to know that there are a range of fabulous walks throughout the area, with the beautiful Howgill Fells and the Cautley Spout nearby. Sedbergh is a quaint market town offering a small choice of shops, pubs and a 12th century church. Fairfield Mill is close by and showcases the workings of a historic mill with some of the earliest weaving mechanisms and looms, and also houses local artists and craftsmen. You may also wish to visit the village of Ingelton or the town of Kendal, both popular with visitors. A wonderful bungalow situated in the heart of the Cumbrian countryside.
The market town of Sedbergh in the Yorkshire Dales National Park offers narrow streets, shops and traditional pubs. The village of Dent is nearby and with golf courses, tennis, riding, fishing and walking routes in the area, there is something for everyone. The town is also well-placed for exploring the Lake District town of Kendal.

This combined with noise from the school, delivery trucks and lawnmowers mostly, it wasn't exactly a quiet rural retreat. However, I think if you lived in a city then perhaps it would be a peaceful place to stay. Otherwise I enjoyed the beautiful view of the Howgill fells and owner's garden.

The Bothy is very clean and comfortable and contains everything needed to make it a pleasant stay. Very quiet with a tranquil and pretty garden and lovely views. Easy walking distance to the town with lots of local walks in and around Sedbergh. Ideally situated to visit many other places by car.
