An idyllic setting with stunning views over Whinfell Tarn, ideally located 3 miles north of the market town of Kendal with its historic castle, tempting tea shops and riverside walks and within a 20 minute drive of the central Lake District. The M6 motorway is 6 miles away in the car so you can easily explore Yorkshire and Lancashire during your stay as well as enjoying the many walking opportunities the Lake District has to offer.
The cottage has shared use of 2 acres of private garden with benches and garden furniture so you can unwind and enjoy the evening sun after a long day walking and exploring the surrounding fells. The garden backs onto Whinfell Tarn which guests are welcome to fish on.
Set all on one level the cottage is ideal for those who have difficulty with stairs or a couple with young children. For the colder winter months there is a wood burning stove in the lounge to warm you up.
