Cark is a small village near Cartmel in the south of the Lake District. Cartmel has boutique shops, traditional pubs and the Michelin Starred L'Enclume restaurant. Take advantage of excellent walking opportunities amidst beautiful unspoiled countryside. Local attractions include Cartmel Race Course (2 miles), Cartmel Priory (2 miles), Holker Hall (0.5 miles), Lakeland Motor Museum (7 miles), Lakeside and Haverthwaite Steam Railway (6 miles) and Lake Windermere (9 miles). The seaside town of Grange over Sands is 4 miles away. The cottage enjoys open plan living with a well equipped kitchen and dining area.
