Village inns including the famous Sun Inn, and a selection of shops and cosy tearooms are just a short stroll away. Bus services to 'book town' Sedbergh, Kendal and Oxenholme station with mainline rail links are all right on your doorstep. The cottage is brimming with character and charm, dating from about 1800 and semi-detached with family facilities including a travel cot, highchair and bouncy chair all available. Accommodating four guests, the cottage is non smoking throughout and one well trained pet is welcome. Storage heating, unlimited hot water, duvets and bedlinen are fully inclusive in booking. First floor bedrooms include a double bedroom with ample storage space, chairs and travel cot and a spacious bunk bedroom. The bathroom is also to the first floor, inclusive of shower bath/ electric shower, wc and wash basin. On the ground floor the cottage boasts a well equipped kitchenette with a microwave, washing machine, electric cooker and a fridge. The open plan sitting and dining area has comfy seating for four plus a television, DVD and video, a CD/ cassette and radio and a collection of toys and games. The dining table seating four has a 'Butterfly Table' and additional storage space features in an upstairs cupboard.

A parking permit is made available for nearby parking in the Parish Council car park (some free parking is adjacent to the property). Changeover day for weekly bookings is Saturday to Saturday only during peak July and August. Short breaks - weekend and midweek - are offered subject to availability and towels/ tea towels can be hired for a small extra fee.
