About this property
This is a superb end-terrace cottage with spectacular views across to the coast from the first floor. The ground floor offers open plan living accommodation with patio doors opening onto a private patio with hot tub. The bedroom has a feature freestanding bath in the gable window, together with an en-suite wet room. A wonderful place to escape and relax for your break in Cumbria. Note: This cottage can be booked with Refs. 916664, 926823 and 916663, together they sleep 12.
Situated on the coast, across from Morecambe Bay is the small village of Aldingham. Local folklore says that the village was once a mile long and that many of the cottages were washed away. Aldingham also has a reputation as a smuggler's village, the perpetrators hiding brandy from France and tobacco from America within the church crypt. The village itself is close to Furness Abbey as well as the ancient market town of Ulverston, just five miles away. Ulverston boasts a street market every Thursday and Saturday, in addition to many festivals throughout the year. These include an amazing lantern procession in November and an atmospheric Dickensian weekend in early December. The town is also the birthplace of Stan Laurel, famous for his work with Oliver Hardy, and as such is home to the only museum dedicated to this double act in the world. With all the attractions of the Lake District National Park and the sandy beaches of the Furness Coast, this quiet and peaceful area has plenty to offer!

The kitchen is well stock with cutlery and crockery and glasses etc and everything else if you want to cook homemade food like we did. I would highly recommend this cottage. A lot of review say and the position of the cctv above the hot tub but to be honest it didnât bother us in the slightest and we just relaxed and took no notice of it really. I would give this cottage 10/10.

Mine and my partners experience was amazing we was so sad to have to leave and come home daisy cottage is beautiful everything about it is definitely a win win and the Location is brilliant in all honesty I canât fault not one thing I actually really miss been there I would personally highly recommend daisy cottage we will for sure be returning I love it
