Snaptrip says

Rock Cottage receives high praise for its cleanliness, spacious garden, and cosy atmosphere, making it ideal for families and pet owners. The well-equipped kitchen and the addition of a hot tub are particularly appreciated. Its location offers privacy and easy access to local attractions, though some guests suggest better directions for arrival. While some minor upgrades are suggested, the overall experience is highly recommended.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently note the cottage as spotlessly clean with fresh and pristine conditions, indicating a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.

The property is praised for its privacy and proximity to local attractions. However, some guests mentioned difficulty finding the cottage in the dark, suggesting room for slight improvement in providing directions.

Reviewers find the cottage comfortable, with ample space for both children and pets. The presence of a high chair, stair gate, and cot adds to the comfort for families with young children.

The cottage is well-equipped, especially the kitchen, and the hot tub is a hit. Some guests mention a need for minor upgrades and better placement of cutlery and crockery, indicating room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.

While the reviews reflect a positive experience, there is no mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, so it is not possible to assess this category.

The cottage was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The hosts were there if needed via the phone (which we did due to a local power cut) and we’re really helpful. They were even kind enough to post us an item we left at the cottage. We would highly recommend people visit. (We were two families of four with children aged 3-8)

Really enjoyed our evenings by the fire after exploring surrounding areas. Also, this is the best cottage I have visited in terms of welcoming dogs. Towels, bowls, treats, bed, no restrictions other than to keep shedding under control by cleaning. Will recommend to all my friends and family looking for dog friendly holidays.

A couple of things could do with a small upgrade but that’s to be expected in an old cottage and adds to the character. Owners very helpful for any needs that we had.
