The scenic village of Calthwaite offers a peaceful getaway but with everything you need only short distance away and its only village pub which offers fine wines and ales plus food. There is a wealth of opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts such as scenic Ullswater Way, a twenty mile path that circumnavigates the entire lake which can be explored in its entirety or done in sections, maybe using the Ullswater Steamers for transport from one section to another. Aira Force waterfall is well worth a visit as is the Rheged Centre with its exhibitions, pottery, soft play, family theater, shops and cafes. This stunning lodge is the perfect place to getaway and enjoy luxury comforts. As soon as you enter the open plan living space you will see the detail and expense the owners have gone to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The lounge boasts a corner sofa with armchair surrounding the flame effect electric fire and Smart TV. The kitchen is stylish and has all you need to cook up a feast for any meal. There is a gas oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. Head on down the hall where you will find the comfortable bedrooms with the master bedroom housing a king size bed with wall mounted TV and plenty of storage space plus a en suite shower room which has a shower and WC. Also, off the hall is the twin room and main shower room with shower and WC. The decking area has been tastefully created to reflect comfort with seating area and your own private hot tub so you can enjoy those lovely evenings with a drink under the stars. Private parking for two cars. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size and 1 twin room. 1 en suite shower room with shower and WC and 1 shower room with WC. Gas hob and oven, microwave, coffee machine, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Smart TV in lounge and TV in king size bedroom. Private parking for 2 cars. Decking with furniture and BBQ. Towels not included (can be hired from owner on arrival at a charge of 15 for the lodge). Private hot tub. Village pub within walking distance guests offered 10% reduction off food & drink. Paddock space available for horses at an additional charge (please ask on booking). This property can only be booked as a standalone property and not in conjunction with a larger group booking involving other properties on site.. Please note that the property only accepts small medium sized dogs only, large dogs will not be allowed on the site . Please be advised all dogs must be kept on a lead within the grounds .
