I did not realise on booking it that the cottage is NOT as stated in Langwathby but over a mile away at Edenhall. Beware of this on booking. The parking was an issue for us and because of this we would not book again. Overall the cottage was well equipped and comfortable in a beautiful area. There could have been a lot more information on the cottage and appliances and more information on places to see and visit. The information book was very sparse. We had a relaxing stay.

10mins from central Penrith, overlooking a quiet green complete with grazing sheepâ¦idyllic! Comfy beds, good sized rooms and and overall warm and welcoming cottage for anyone. We stayed here for one month with our toddler and would have happily stayed longer. If youâre thinking about staying here, just do it!

The cottage is beautifully decorated and very cosy. Great location for visiting the beautiful towns in the Lake District. Only a 5 min drive to Penrith, which has everything you need. Would recommend this cottage and would definitely stay here again.
