The Eden Valley is blissfully distracting from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. Local villages nearby offer pubs, bakeries, tea rooms and independent shops. Right from your door walkers and cyclists will be in their element, with the Coast to Coast path close by and just a short drive from Penrith, Pooley Bridge and Ullswater Lake. Further afield is Alston with unspoilt landscapes and one of the country s highest market towns. Also nearby is Appleby and Kirby Stephen offering historic buildings, castle, shops, cafe s, pubs and restaurants. Enter this traditional Cumbria cottage and you will instantly see the renewed life the owners have given to bring it back to its glory. Firstly, on the left is a snug area with Smart TV and sofa, ideal for a movie night in. On the right is the lounge/diner with a large comfy chair and sofa in front of the wood burner effect electric fire to create a cosy atmosphere, a wall mounted Smart TV and the dining table which seats six.
