The cottage was immaculate and very we'll presented. It had all the facilities we needed, and our whole stay went without a hitch. We completed a large cycle (in the rain!) and it was lovely to come back to a warm and comfortable base, where we could wash and dry our clothes - the shower is great too! Would definitely recommend!

We have recently returned from a six night break at Westgate Cottage and really enjoyed ourselves. It's a bit far out for driving to the Lakes each day which we hadn't appreciated but it was a lovely base to return to each evening. The cottage had pretty much everything we needed, even tupperware for pack ups. Only a couple of issues-the freezer bit in the fridge didn't work but more importantly for us, the advertised enclosed garden was not "enclosed" and as dog owners this was disappointing. We solved it by purchasing a ground anchor and wire but obviously not ideal. Overall though, a beautiful, well equipped cottage in a lovely village and a great local pub/restaurant.
