Great accommodation, clean with everything you need. Added bonus of a horse in the field and a beautiful eight week old Cocker Spaniel puppy. Being an animal lover this was a great place to stay, a large field a five minute walk down the road where my dog could have a run. Close to Ennerdale lake which is worth a walk around.

We had a lovely week in the Byres Tan, the accommodation was lovely and spotlessly clean. Although it’s on a working farm that was not a problem, you wouldn’t really know! St Bees is lovely and love the walk down to the beach and along the cliff. It’s also great to explore further afield, around the lakes etc. We will definitely return!!
