The bungalow is extremely spacious and well equipped although some crockery chipped and odds of cutlery. Bedding adequate but somewhat dated with nylon covers and pillow slips. Hot tub was most welcome after a day's exploring of the area. Very kind gifts of fresh farm eggs, wine and flowers. A nice touch. Owner Mr. Gate very welcoming. Would recommend.

Large and comfortable cottage. Very accessible for people with mobility problems. Gardens were great and kids could play safely on the lawn. Ideal location for exploring the north lakes.

We’ve been back here 3 times now and love it. Although it’s quiet and rural there are plenty of places to visit within driving distance. The house is large and roomy and my grandchildren love it here. At night we walk the lanes around the property to see the livestock in the fields and during the day visit places like Keswick, Carlisle castle, Greystoke castle and Silloth. Nearby is Home Farm Butchers which is the best butchers I’ve ever found in Brayton park, Aspatria. The owners of the property are lovely and welcoming and quickly sort out any problems.
