Situated in the pretty market town of Brampton with its independent shops, restaurants and farmer s market which is usually held on the last Saturday of every month. The local area has lots to offer for a lovely walk, visit Talkin Tarn and enjoy a rowing boat on the water and ice cream or coffee after a walk around the lake. The area is steeped in history with Lanercost Priory just a few miles away, Naworth Castle and Birdoswald Roman Fort are also well worth a visit. The Lake District National Park and the Northern Pennines are both a short drive away. If you fancy a day of retail therapy, why not jump on a train from the local railway station to Carlisle or Newcastle for the day. This beautifully restored house has the perfect mix of old and new, with lots of original features along with unique contemporary styling throughout. As you walk through the front door into the impressive hallway you cannot miss the staircase and large stained glass window.
