Exposed beams and vaulted ceilings seamlessly combine with modern home comforts, and offers couples a relaxing and tranquil bolthole throughout the year.

The cosy sitting room enjoys a sofa each to stretch out and enjoy a film on the large wall-mounted smart television, with a living flame effect fire providing warmth and ambience; and stairs up to the first floor. Glazed doors lead down a step into the bright and spacious kitchen with ample storage and workspace, along with a breakfast bar dining area. A handy downstairs loo provides underfloor heating, and the utility room keeps holiday laundry out of sight and mind. Climb the stairs to the spacious bedroom with its vaulted ceiling, inviting feature super-king size bed and modern en-suite bathroom.

Warmer evenings can be spent in the small private courtyard with outdoor furniture, ready for lighting up the barbecue after a day exploring, or an early morning coffee listening to the birdsong. Alternatively, make use of the shared picnic area and take in the far reaching rural views.

Nearby, Beeston Castle, built in the 13th century by an earl of Chester can be reached by a stiff walk to the top, but once climbed, the views make it all worthwhile. The historic walled city of Chester is just half an hour away, with an array of attractions and dining out opportunities.
