Tuck into your food as you look out of the bi-fold doors to the frosty winter lake beyond, or in summer open up the doors and let the outside in for a lovely fresh breeze. Delight in drinks on the patio on a balmy evening, toast to your holiday or break, plan new adventures and remember old ones too. Take a woodland walk around the charming grounds and discover its many corners, including The Walled Garden, The Milanese Gates and The Ice House, before stopping in for some scones and tea at the Lakeside Café when you want an afternoon treat on most Sundays and Mondays from April to October. Venture out to the surrounding area and find delightful destinations like Alderly Edge, known as the ‘Champagne capital of Britain’ for being home to the rich and famous and host to many quality restaurants and shops, Macclesfield with its bustling town centre and bars, or the Peak District for some wonderful walking country. Whatever your preference, whether you are big on the outdoors or prefer a more relaxing break, Lakeside Village & The Potting Shed can brilliantly accommodate your varied group for an unforgettable trip. The grounds were stunning, cabins were all super clean as was potting shed. Perfect for a getaway with our friends. It was very hot when we stayed and we couldn’t quite work out the air con system, glad I took my fan being heavily pregnant! Would highly recommend for a relaxing break in a beautiful setting

The only issue we found was that the kitchen wasn't well equipped for doing much cooking - for example there was no potato peeler, wooden spoons, weighing scales etc.
