Located within the grounds of Heald Country House, in the quiet village of Wrenbury, these boutique retreats are within a few minutes walk of a fantastic country pubs. A delightful, award winning gastro pub is a short drive away situated on the edge of the beautiful Cholmondeley Castle Estate, there are plenty of lovely country walks to be found right from your doorstep, including walks around the Bickerton Hills and the Sandstone Trail. The area is also popular with cyclists and the barns are situated on one of Cheshire’s designated cycle routes. Whilst the barns occupy a peaceful, rural position they are also well placed for visiting the vibrant cities of Chester, Liverpool, Manchester and Shrewsbury, which are all within an hour’s drive. Other places worth visiting in the area include Chester Zoo, Blue Planet Aquarium, Oulton Park, Delamere Forest and Ludlow. North Wales is very accessible from here and its beaches can be reached in around an hour. There are several National Trust properties in the area and an abundance of welcoming country pubs, beautiful gardens, ice cream farms and retail opportunities, including the Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet Village. Wrenbury is just 6 miles from the historic market town of Nantwich.

All three barns (UKC898 - The Cowshed, UKC899 - The Nest and UKC900 - The Old Parlour) have been individually designed to offer unique luxury accommodation. Complete with roaring fires, inspirational decor, romantic mezzanine bedrooms, beautiful bathrooms, squashy feather sofas, surround sound TV and audio systems, fresh coffee machines and kingsize beds with memory foam toppers clad in White Company linens, they are the perfect country boltholes. Fluffy towels, bathrobes and toiletries by The Bathhouse complete the experience. Each barn also has free Wi-Fi and its own private outdoor space with BBQ, and comfy seating for relaxing. A roll top bath hidden in each terrace adds a touch of luxury.

To enhance your stay, the owner can arrange a wide range of VIP treats for your stay such as an evening of stargazing by your own outdoor fire whilst relaxing on loungers clad in lavender infused vintage blankets, feather eiderdowns and hot water bottles. Alternatively, arrive to the fire, lamps and candles lit, bubble bath at the ready and a bottle of chilled champagne on ice or a hand tied bouquet of seasonal flowers with a personalised message. Cheshire Boutique Retreats have teamed up with a local beauty salon who will come to your barn to carry out a wide range of treatments for reasonable prices.
