While cleaning, we found dust and litter under furniture, and the mattress and bed frame needed attention. The toilets required extra effort to flush, and the window sills in the main bedroom were rotted, allowing cold air and bugs inside. The paint on the walls was flaking, and the curtains smelled damp. The shower only stayed hot for a short time, and the DVD player was broken. The kitchen was fairly well equipped and clean, although the toaster didnât work well and the kettle had limescale. The area was lovely, and the cottage has great potential, but it would benefit from more thorough cleaning and maintenance

Cosy, comfy and clean with everything we needed and much more spacious than it looks in the photos. We loved the donkeys in the field behind the cottage and seeing the farmyard animals on a daily basis. The location is perfect; secluded and quiet but within very easy reach of Tatton Park and all its attractions. The free pass was a fantastic bonus. We ended up hardly using the car as there was so much to see and do in the Park. The beautiful Gardens especially should not be missed. We did have a trip to nearby Jodrell Bank which we'd highly recommend. It's a spectacular sight! Thank you, from Helen, Francis and Patsy.
