Heading west, Chester (22 miles) is known for its Roman heritage, with a range of attractions and landmarks including the City Walls, Chester Castle, the Grosvenor Museum and Chester Zoo. Exploring the area further, local highlights include Beeston Castle, Cholmondeley Castle Gardens, Delamere Forest, Lakemore Farm Park and the Hack Green Secret Nuclear Bunker, all within 13 miles.

Step aboard this charming narrowboat, where a short flight of steps leads down into the colourfully decorated interior and the cosy double bedroom. Just beside the canal, a shared lawn area provides a relaxing spot for a BBQ, also making an ideal position for watching the narrowboats passing by. An on-site harbour cafe serves a range of refreshments, and guests are welcome to use the shower and WC available within the harbour complex. Parking space for one car is available around 100 metres away.
