Welcome to The Whitehall Hotel in Darwen. Dating from 1898, our charming Victorian manor house hotel retains a wealth of period features including a panelled sweeping staircase, open fireplace, 16 foot chandelier and decorative ceiling. We offer a luxurious range of accommodation including a four poster room ideal for couples or a family room. The quiet location gives easy access to the M65 and M61 motorway links making the hotel convenient for quick trips to Blackburn, Burnley, Bolton or Manchester.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

Each room is well furnished with a queen size bed with Durest mattress. Entertainment facilities include a Sony Bravia flat screen TV with Freeview TV and other facilities include a direct dial telephone, wake up service/ alarm clock, hair dryer and individually controlled radiators. The en-suite offers a shower, heated towel rail, WC, hand basin, towels, a mirror with shaver point and some rooms have a spa bath.

Our Courtyard rooms have a king size bed, spacious desk area and trouser press. The gardens and surrounding woodland create a peaceful atmosphere which is ideal for the leisure or business traveller.
