We really enjoyed our stay at Clay Hall Farm. Communication with the owner was great all questions answered and an info pack via WhatsApp. Located on the moors, great for dog walks, bike rides and the odd run. Local pub 10 minutes walk away, abit quiet but nice for a meal and a pint. Whitby, Goathland, Staithes all easy to get to. We spend everyday of our stay exploring these seaside towns. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay there again

Good central location for many coastal areas. If you have dogs you will need a torch as there is no light in back garden ,everything thing else is very good at the property.

Beautiful, spacious cottage. Plenty of storage & kitchen equipment. Wonderful big, grassy garden which the dogs loved, especially the shaded trees at the top of the garden when it got too hot for them. The location of the cottage was easy to find, but you do need a car to get around. Some good pubs nearby & a lovely farm shop cafe. Best dog friendly beach for us was at Merske. The cottage is located just off a busy road, which, at times, can become a little noisy. Having said that, we didn't find it an issue overnight. We did have an issue with the cottage not long after we arrived. Peter, the owner, worked tirelessly to rectify it. He was constantly in communication with us until the issue was sorted. So, 10/10 to him. 👏
