This beautifully renovated cottage, ready for summer 2024, offers a serene escape with views over a vast communal lawn and access to 7 acres of woodland and meadows, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and dog lovers. Located just 6 miles from the coast, The Rabbits Warren provides easy access to the charming seaside towns of Staithes, Whitby, and Runswick Bay, each offering beautiful beaches and coastal charm.

The separate lounge features comfortable seating on two sofas around the TV, providing a cosy spot to unwind after a day of exploration. We welcome dogs but insist you don’t allow your animals upstairs or in the bedrooms.

On the whole it was a lovely cottage but there was a lack of utensils and there wasn't a casserole dish, and also there wasn't a deep bowl for mixing eggs for an omelette.. The double bed was lumpy, and it would have nice to have some curtains on the lounge windows. It also was for a bit difficult to get up the stairs around the bend.. I suggest attaching a rope along the straight bit of wall so there is something to hold onto.It was a nice to see a grassy area and trees to look out of the kitchen window..The cottage was in easy reach of the coast and Guisborough for food etc. .

The perfect retreat. So comfy. Facilities are excellent. Both bedrooms are beautiful, spacious, ... luxurious. Fantastic kitchen and living room. There are even picnic tables in the back garden. Plenty of parking.The only thing I'd change (apart from staying another week) would be warning signs on the road as to where to turn off. Maybe that's not allowed? I'd love to stay again. A great base for visiting the coast, moors, or local towns and villages. Thank you.

Had a fantastic stay at the Rabbit Warren. Great location. On the edge of the moors and close to the coast. Could not fault it.
