Ideally placed for trips up and down the North Yorkshire coast and a short trip inland to the North Yorkshire Moors for the peace and tranquility they provide. Best of all is Skiiningrove beach / Cattersty sands for exercising the dog which is just a stones throw away and the Carlin How working mens club which was very welcoming and less than a minutes walk away.

Great shower! The village isn't pretty but it's an ideal location to explore the beautiful coastline, including Saltburn, Sandsend and Whitby, plus inland North Yorkshire. There's a regular coastal bus line with a stop virtually outside the house. Parking was easy on the road. Bill was a very helpful and responsive host, particularly when there was a problem with the washing machine.
