Got back from Blackgill yesterday. Lovely quaint cottage with fabulous views. Very comfortable bed and nice on suite bathroom. Shower hard to work, but good when it gets going. Cosy little kitchen and living room with balcony. Owner very friendly and give access to her garden with a lovely sun room. Excellent for both our labradors although had to pay extra for them when leaving which we didn't know about. Would return and I recommend to dog owners.

We had a great stay at Blackgill Cottage. It is in such a lovely peaceful, tranquil and picturesque area. To make it perfect, it would have been great to be within walking distance of a local shop and pub, but that didn't affect us from having a lovely time. The owner is very friendly and helpful, recommending some great places to visit to walk the dog.

Based on the pictures on line, this property is disappointing. The outside areas bear no resemblance to how it looks today. At best guess they are 10 years out of date (when the property was renovated in 2016).The inside is also looking very tired which does not give a comfortable stay.
