The owner arranged for that to be sorted out within minutes, thanks Dee Dee and Linda. There was a welcome pack which was a nice thought. The cottage more than made up for the horrible weather. I would recommend the cottage to anybody.

We felt at home as soon as we opened the front door. Very clean, comfortable and homely. The heating was already on, when we arrived, which was a a lovely surprise and most welcome. The cottage is very well equipped and the welcome basket of fresh bread, milk, wine, beer, popcorn, doggie ball and treats was a fantastic surprise and a lovely touch. It is situated in a brilliant location in the village, surrounded by coffee shops, pubs, butchers, fish & chip shop, take away restaurants, Sainsburys and the Co-Op. We visited the beaches of Marske, Red Car, Saltburn, Sandsend, Robin Hood Bay and Whitby, which were stunning and very therapeutic. We didnât want to go home and will definitely be coming back! The only comment we would make is that we would have liked a tv in the bedroom, but thatâs personal choice. Thank you, De, for a wonderful break in your holiday home. Claire, Sean and Jack the dog x
