Great cottage in a good location for shops and restaurants in Guisborough. Also a good location for visits to the coast.

Lovely little cottage, well equipped and comfortable. On arrival we discovered that the shower door had shattered leaving a carpet of broken glass on the bathroom floor. The owner was informed immediately but did not respond for 24 hours. This lack of response to a dangerous hazard was poor.

Comfort has been sacrificed for appearances. No table and chairs - just one 2 seater settee. The French bed was entirely inappropriate in that small cottage bedroom. Just inches left to negotiate getting round the bottom of it. Not recommended for anyone with mobility problems. Oh, and the free standing bath !Pretentious to extreme, and only usable by the most agile.
