It is said that Postman Pat’s ’Greendale’ is based on Wooler being the gateway to the Cheviots. Nearby there is the Ad Gefrin Anglo-Saxon Museum and Whisky Distillery, here you can do a tour of the distillery and have a tasting session to try their selection of whiskeys. Wooler is on the edge of the National Park and is only 15 miles to Berwick on Tweed, with a beautiful beach and plenty of shops and history. All of the Scottish Borders are easily explored from here with Coldstream only 14 miles and Kelso a little further. Edinburgh is only 90 minutes away.

What a lovely stay we had at Grace's Diary The home is immaculate throughout If you don't have a dog as we don't you would not see one dog hair throughout the house They have gone above and beyond in the little touches they provide Example dishwasher tablets Kitchen roll Toilet rollsBiscuits,tea , coffee and plenty more things Wouldn't hesitate to stay again One little recommendation would be steak knives And that is me being picky

Property provided a very enjoyeable family holiday Location and amenities fine. Owners very friendly and helpful. Only critism is that patio area would benefit from a lick of paint and pictures fixings also require attention. Would happily return and strongly recommend.
