Oaklands is situated in the pretty historic village of Warkworth and is a fantastic example of a traditional Northumbrian country home. Boasting 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, this impressive 4 star property offers luxurious, spacious accommodation for 12 people.
The large, south facing garden is a wonderful addition to the property, having lovely views of St. Lawrence's Church and distant views of the Estuary heading out to Amble in the winter time. Welcoming two dogs, parking for up to 8 cars and free WiFi, Oaklands is an ideal destination for couples and multi-generational families alike.
A short walk away from this luxury country house is the centre of the ‘chocolate-box’ village of Warkworth, oozing history and with a strong sense of community. There are 4 great pubs, 3 restaurants, a handful of gift shops, a gorgeous art gallery and even a French chocolatier - you’ll certainly be spoiled for choice in this pretty village. The magnificent Warkworth Castle stands tall at the top of the village framing the bustling main street, whilst the Coquet River loops around the village, providing more scenic walks to discover.
