Enjoying a superb location between Seahouses and Bamburgh in Northumberland, The Stables is a delightful single-storey stone cottage which offers a warm and welcoming romantic retreat for a couple on holiday. Despite only being for two people, the accommodation is surprisingly spacious with the open-plan living space boasting loads of light and space. The seating area is situated in front of a TV and gorgeous woodburning stove with the addition of a high vaulted ceiling and feature floor-to-ceiling windows allowing the space to flood with light, making it the perfect spot for curling up together. Step into the extensive kitchen which is fully fitted with everything needed to produce delicious food for your special someone. Cooking is truly sociable experience at The Stables and you can pull up a chair, pour yourself a drink and keep the designated chef company. When it’s time to serve up, you can look forward to long, romantic meals together at the rustic dining table. Outside, there is a small garden and patio where you can enjoy time eating and drinking together while soaking up some fantastic coastal views. Come bedtime and you can sink into the sumptuous super-king-size bed and look forward to a restful night’s sleep. Waking up at The Stables and you are already in the perfect place for getting out and about exploring. Seahouses is just a short walk away with the stunning beaches of the Northumberland Heritage Coast close by. The delightful fishing village of Seahouses has its own harbour and is located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village of Bamburgh is well worth a visit too, famous for its imposing castle but which also has a good selection of shops and amenities. Close by there are miles of sandy beaches to explore and boat trips run daily from Seahouses to Farne islands where you can look out for birds and seals. Further afield there are magnificent castles to discover such as Dunstanburgh, Warkworth, Lindisfarne and Cragside, with towns such as the historic market town of Alnwick; Alnmouth known for its excellent golf course; and the farming hamlet of Howick which is known for being the birthplace of Earl Grey tea. A romantic stay at The Stables is a stay you will remember forever.

A bustling, pretty fishing village with an attractive harbour, situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few. Golf, fishing and riding are also available locally.
