Loved our holiday in the Coracle, it was well equipped and comfortable and in a great location. Only minor downside was no dedicated parking, but we didn’t have a much problem parking somewhere close by in the opposite side street or just round the corner. The water pressure was low but didn’t really cause too much of a problem.

The cottage is lovely, and the location is great for exploring Seahouses and Northumberland. Unfortunately, the thing that spoils this cottage is the shower, it's downright dangerous. The water from is scolding hot or freezing cold. If you are travelling with children be very careful!! Do not let them shower alone.I have since read other reviews and see that the shower is an ongoing problem, I am very disappointed, given the feedback that this has not been remedied.

Needs a make over to be up graded to a 4* from a three*. Needs new front door, privacy blinds that go up over so it’s not like being in a fish bowl in bedrooms. Had to have blinds down all week. Horrible dark wood, didn’t like the barn doors, would be so much lighter with new doors throughout with glass panels to let light thru. More modern to keep up with the times. Hot water was a bit of an issue at times, probably not their fault for the pressure. Bedroom furniture was like something out of my nanas era, they need up dating. First time I’ve actually been glad to get back home. Found the stone work around fire side over bearing.
