You can imagine spending many happy holiday hours chilling out on the sofa, lovingly preparing food in the wonderful kitchen area or sitting at the rustic dining table and tucking into long, leisurely meals together. The conservatory offers a great alternative space to either socialise together or get away from it all and curl up with a good book. With two double bedrooms for the grown-ups to choose from and a cool bunk bedroom for the kids everyone is happy at The Bolthole. Both double bedrooms even come with a TV so you don’t have to miss out on your favourite telly programme! If the weather allows, then there is a patio table and chairs all set up ready in the gravelled courtyard area, looking forward to welcoming guests to drink and dine alfresco. Waking up in the morning and you’re already close to the beautiful village of Seahouses which is located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so you are guaranteed a whole host of beautiful walks and hikes rewarded by some stunning views along the way. Close by, there are miles of sandy beaches to explore and boat trips run daily from Seahouses to Farne islands where you can look out for birds and seals. Further afield there are magnificent castles to discover such as Dunstanburgh, Warkworth, Lindisfarne and Cragside, with towns such as the historic market town of Alnwick; Alnmouth known for its excellent golf course; and Bamburgh with its infamous castle. The Bolthole offers its guests an immaculate holiday hideaway in the heart of a charming fishing village.

A bustling, pretty fishing village with an attractive harbour, situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few. Golf, fishing and riding are also available locally.
