Stone built former fisherman's cottage, in a fantastic location situated directly on the harbour in Seahouses with panoramic sea views. Centrally located for all village amenities and access to Farne Islands and local beaches.

This former harbourside grain store has been lovingly converted and restored by a local mason to provide charming family accommodation for four guests. This delightful cottage has a master bedroom with a balcony with wicker table and chairs - a great place to sit and relax with a morning coffee. The open plan living space is sociable and comfortable with a couple of sofas, dining table and chairs and fitted corner kitchen with dishwasher. Just outside the property there’s a courtyard with a bistro table and chairs.

Masons Cottage is close beach and the shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants are just a has everything you need just a short walk away. A great base for exploring the area and watching the harbourside activities. Visit the Farne Islands to observe the seabirds and the colony of Grey Seals. 3 miles north is the impressive Bamburgh Castle which clings to a rocky outcrop, and it’s just 5 miles to Holy Island and  Lindisfarne (accessible at low tide along the causeway). Just south of Seahouses is Beadnell Bay with its unique west facing harbour for sailing, windsurfing and scuba diving. Good golfing (0,.5 miles), fishing and horse riding available locally.

Pets: Masons does not accept dogs but we cannot guarantee that dogs have not been in the property.

Please note: the cottage has a steep staircase with narrow treads. The cottage is adjacent to the harbour and it is advised that children and pets must be supervised at all times.
