Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of pubs and eateries. Nearby are miles of clean sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands, with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, not to be missed. Discover the numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick. With many walking adventures to be had in the local area, and for keen golfers, there is the splendid Seahouses golf course, or have a go at fishing and just simply relax.
