Located in the old town of Seahouses in Northumberland, Seahares is a character cottage which has been immaculately presented for guests and is ideal for a family holiday. This is a space you can imagine everyone gathering to socialise and get into the holiday vibe, or just to curl up on your own with a good book in front of the stove. When it’s time to eat, the fully fitted kitchen is ready to go with all the appliances needed to be able to produce tasty food for the whole holiday party and the adjoining dining area is delightful with a window seat and table and chairs the perfect place to host your home-cooked meals. Outside, there is a sunny courtyard area which is ideal for soaking up any sunshine and breathing in the fresh sea air. After all that fresh air, you’ll be ready for bed and with two charming bedrooms to choose from, a king-size and a double, you’ll find going to bed a joy. Waking up is even more joyful with those captivating coastal views to motivate you to get up and get out. Take a stroll into the gorgeous village of Seahouses which is located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so you are guaranteed a whole host of beautiful walks and hikes rewarded by some stunning views along the way. Close by, there are miles of sandy beaches to explore and boat trips run daily from Seahouses to Farne islands where you can look out for birds and seals. Further afield there are magnificent castles to discover such as Dunstanburgh, Warkworth, Lindisfarne and Cragside, with towns such as the historic market town of Alnwick; Alnmouth known for its excellent golf course; and Bamburgh with its infamous castle. A bustling, charming fishing village with a charming harbour on the stunning Northumbrian coast, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses has a good selection of shops as well as inns, pubs, and restaurants. There are miles and miles of beautiful sandy beaches nearby, and the opportunity to visit the famous Farne Islands' bird sanctuary or seal colony, with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed.
