Sea Poppy Cottage is a lovely house on the outskirts of the popular fishing village of Seahouses. Ideal for those looking for a seaside break, it is only 5 minutes from an excellent sandy beach, and only a few minutes walk from the fantastic Seahouses Golf Club. There is plenty to see and do in Seahouses, including boat trips to the Farne Islands, where you can see over one hundred different types of seabird, and if you are lucky may spot a colony of grey seals or a school of dolphins. Along the unspoilt Northumbrian Coastline are some incredible sights including Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh Castle, and Holy Island. Activities to be enjoyed in the area include fishing, cycling, boat trips, horse riding, golf. Shop: 0.4 miles Pub: 0.5 miles.

Lovely house in great location in Seahouses. Very comfortable and practical. I would give it 9/10. It just needs a little TLC to get 10/10, specifically the garden needs some attention and a few more kitchen items would be useful. We would definitely stay again if the price remains similar.

House was in a perfect location in a quiet cul de sac - only a few minutes' stroll to the harbour and shops in one direction and only a few minutes' stroll to a beautiful beach in the other direction. Accommodation was clean and comfortable and it was nice to have an off road car parking space.
