When it’s time for bed, choose from a king-size or a twin; both are stylishly presented. The king-size has its own balcony giving yet more opportunities to indulge in those sea views. After a relaxing night recharging your batteries, you’re ready to get out and about exploring. You are already in the heart of the beautiful village of Seahouses which is located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so you are guaranteed a whole host of beautiful walks and hikes rewarded by some stunning views along the way.
Close by, there are miles of sandy beaches to explore and boat trips run daily from Seahouses to Farne islands where you can look out for birds and seals. Further afield there are magnificent castles to discover such as Dunstanburgh, Warkworth, Lindisfarne and Cragside, with towns such as the historic market town of Alnwick; Alnmouth known for its excellent golf course; and Bamburgh with its infamous castle. Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few. Golf, fishing and riding are also available locally.

The property was very suitable for people with mobility issues There was a lift and covered garage The property itself had everything that we needed including a lovely sea view Lots of seafood restaurants along the coast

it was well placed lacked nothing in the line of equipment or comfort, the owner was very helpful with a problem we had (healthwise). We had a slight problem when one of the radiators broke but help was on the way immediately and sorted with in twenty minuets. ( suggestion put a second television in one of the bedrooms )

Co-op supermarket 150 yds away for supplies and a few restaurants around Seahouses Main Street. Farne Island gift shop next door to the apartments is an Aladdinâs cave and always worth a visit! Fabulous beaches within walking distance and historic Alnwick castle a 25 minute drive away- Bamburgh Castle only 3 miles away and a beautiful walk along the coastal road or a short drive with good parking nearby. Apartment was clean and very well maintained with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The beds are very comfortable and a bath in the en-suite was an added bonus! 2 small balconies provide a lovely partial sea view for a morning coffee, weather permitting . The side view does overlook the next door Castle Inn but this didnât cause us any of the problems mentioned in some other reviews. Plentiful hot water and accessible heating kept us cosy throughout our stay. Plenty of kitchen equipment to self cater and good instructions for using all appliances. Thereâs access to a numbered space in the under-cover garage for parking a medium sized car and gated access to the complex provides security. Will definitely return.
