Your holiday begins as soon as you walk into this delightful space with an attractive sitting room waiting for guests to take a seat in front of the woodburning stove and enjoy spending time together. The spacious kitchen/diner is a really sociable area with a fully fitted kitchen positioned alongside an elegant dining area, somewhere you can imagine the designated chef enjoying cooking up a storm while guests indulge in long, leisurely meals together round the rustic dining table. If the sun is shining, then make the most of it by taking a seat in the patio area to the front of the property and soaking up any rays. After a day at the beach and exploring the delights of Northumberland, bedtime will be calling, so choose from two excellently presented bedrooms; a king-size and a twin. Both are charming and offer a relaxing sanctuary to recharge your batteries. In the morning, you’ll be dying to get out and about exploring, so why not start with a stroll into Seahouses? Check out the harbour and the good range of shops and amenities on offer. Boat trips run daily from here to Farne islands where you can look out for birds and seals. Further afield there are magnificent castles to discover such as Dunstanburgh, Warkworth, Lindisfarne and Cragside, with towns such as the historic market town of Alnwick; Alnmouth known for its excellent golf course; and Bamburgh with its infamous castle. A bustling, pretty fishing village with an attractive harbour, situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few. Golf, fishing and riding are also available locally.
