The property is perfectly situated for exploring the attractions of Seahouses, including glistening sandy beaches, a colourful harbour, numerous shops and eateries and the infamous The Olde Ship Inn, with its fabulous real ale maritime museum-style bar and restaurant! Enjoy excellent fishing, riding, golf and walking from the doorstep or visit the impressive Bamburgh Castle and Cragside House, both within easy reach. Historic Alnwick is 10 miles away or take a ferry across to the Farne Islands, home to the most famous seabird sanctuary in the British Isles. An ideal base from which to discover Northumberland and its beautiful Heritage Coast.
The pretty and lively fishing village of Seahouses is situated on the Northumbrian Coast, designated an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses, with its attractive harbour, hosts a miscellany of shops and a good variety of pubs, restaurants and other eateries. Close by are miles of beautiful sandy beaches, stretching along the coastline. The Farne Islands with the seal colony and the bird sanctuary are just a boat trip away and these run daily from Seahouses providing visitors with an opportunity not to be missed. There are countless visitor attractions in this area waiting to be explored, including castles at Bamburgh, Alnwick and Cragside House. Outdoor pursuits are well catered for with golf courses, horse riding, cycle paths and fishing all readily available, as well as plenty of walking trails.

This was by far the best equipped one we have stayed in and in a prime position within the bustling town of seahouses. We visited Bamburgh, went to Edinburgh from Berwick and also went to Alnwick castle. Had a very enjoyable few days and can highly recommend this lovely cottage. Many thanks.

Equipped with everything we needed and more. The games room was great fun although we only used it a couple of times as we were lucky enough to have great weather. The location is perfect, just seconds away from the shops, pub and harbour. We even had our own car parking space which is rare in Seahouses. The house was spotlessly clean on arrival and the beds were comfortable. Couldn't ask for more. Would definitely like to return. Thank you.
